Kristen Pressly, Esquire

Kristy grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida and received her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Florida, both with honors. Kristy served as Senior Student Works Editor for the University of Florida Law Review. She was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity.

Kristy moved to West Palm Beach to work for the prestigious law firm of Gunster, Yoakley and Stewart, P.A. and later Page, Mrachek, Fitzgerald & Rose, P.A., where she was a commercial litigator, specializing in employment law. Kristy used her litigation experience to provide consulting and training to many of Palm Beach County’s largest employers, including The Breakers.

In 2003, Kristy moved in-house as The Breakers’ first in-house counsel. In her role, Kristy oversees management of The Breakers’ litigation and represented claims, administrative complaints, worker’s compensation, risk management, human resources consulting and training, compliance issues, contract review and negotiation and general problem-solving and dispute avoidance.

Kristy is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association and Association of Corporate Counsel.

Kristy served on the boards of the Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County (2005-2010), Palm Beach Cancer Institute Foundation (2010) and the boards of Susan G. Komen South Florida (2010 – 2013), and the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce (2010 -2013).

Kristy is also an active member and supporter of the Palm Beach County Historical Society and Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County.

Kristy is married to Grier Pressly and has one beautiful daughter, Parker.
